Phish Threat license calculation

The table below shows how monthly license usage is calculated based on when the Phish Threat email campaigns are sent. Users enrolled in the same campaign may be emailed at different times and dates.

Number of campaigns Emails sent Description Number of licenses used
One In the same billing period. You enrolled 20 users, and all campaign emails were sent before the end of the billing period. 20
One Across two billing periods. You enrolled 20 users, and the emails were set to be sent at a rate of four per day for five days, with the last day falling into the next billing period.
  • 16 for the first billing period.
  • 4 for the second billing period.
Multiple In the same billing period. You enrolled 20 users in the first campaign, and 10 are included in the second campaign. All emails are sent before the end of the billing period. 20
Multiple Across two billing periods. You enrolled 20 users in the first campaign, and 10 are included in the second campaign. Only two of the 10 emails were sent in the second campaign before the end of the billing period.
  • 20 for the first billing period.
  • 8 for the second billing period.
