Upgrade switch firmware

When new firmware is available for your switch, you can schedule the upgrade in Sophos Central.

To upgrade the switch firmware, do as follows:

  1. Go to My Products > Switches > Switches. If new firmware is available a green arrow is shown next to the firmware version in the switches overview table.

  2. Click the green arrow, and then click Schedule an upgrade.

  3. In the pop-up screen, select Choose Schedule.

  4. You can choose to upgrade the switch firmware straight away or schedule a specific time for the upgrade.

    1. To upgrade the firmware now, select the Now radio button, and click Add.

    2. Click Custom and choose the time and date you want the firmware update to happen. Click Add.

  5. Click Save.
