Wireless Dashboard
The Wireless dashboard provides a centralized view of your wireless network environment through various widgets that show access point status, network threats, connected devices, alerts, security heartbeat information, and traffic usage insights.
Go to My Products > Wireless to see the dashboard.
Access Points
The Access Points widget shows information about your access points. You can see the following statuses:

- Rogue: An untrusted network connected to your secured wired access point network.
- Advanced Impersonate: A network that spoofs your access point's network name and unique protection code.
- Evil Twin: A network that spoofs the network name and the hardware address of your access point.

Devices
The Devices widget shows you a graph containing the number of devices connected to your access points over the past 24 hours. The graph shows the following information:
- A solid, dark blue line represents the devices connected to AP and APX series access points.
- A broken, dark blue line represents the devices connected to AP and APX series access points with poor signal quality.
- A solid, light blue line represents the devices connected to AP6 series access points.
- A broken, light blue line represents the devices connected to AP6 series access points with poor signal quality.
You can click each element in the legend to add and remove them from the graph.
Click 7d to see devices connected to your access points over the past week.
Click Devices to see the details of all connected devices on the Devices page. See Devices.
Alerts
The Alerts widget shows you the alerts for your access points.
Click All to show all alerts.

Click Alerts to go to the Alerts page. See Wireless Alerts.
Security Heartbeat
You can see the security status of your devices using Security Heartbeat. Security Heartbeat data is available only for APX series access points.
The security status can be one of the following:
- Client at risk: Active malware detected.
- Client might be at risk: Potentially unwanted application (PUA) or inactive malware detected.
- Client is protected: No malware detected.
- Missing Security Heartbeat™: The device is connected but isn't sending a heartbeat.
- No Security Heartbeat™: Sophos Endpoint or Sophos Mobile Control isn't installed.
Note
If you assign an SSID with Synchronized Security turned on and a VLAN configured to an APX access point, it receives two IP addresses so the Security Heartbeat can function across the VLAN.
Usage Insight
You can see the traffic generated by the wireless devices connected to AP6 and APX series access points over the past 24 hours. It shows a pie chart and a list of the top traffic categories from your devices. You can hover over a slice to see the name and traffic generated by that category. You can also hover over each category in the list to highlight the corresponding section of the pie chart and see its details.
