Troubleshoot Google Directory synchronization

This lists the errors you can see when synchronizing Google Directory to Sophos Central.

You have not granted access to your Google cloud data in the previous screen.

When you're connecting to or disconnecting from the Google Directory source, ensure you allow sophos.com the necessary access or select the checkbox in the Google consent screen.

Key creation is not allowed on this service account.

Issue

You can't synchronize a Google Directory to Sophos Central. Google Directory synchronization fails at 80% during the connection process.

What to do

This issue may occur if the service account key creation policy is enabled in Google Cloud. To resolve this issue, disable this policy in Google Cloud. For detailed instructions, see Disable service account key creation policy in Google Cloud.
