Set up Apple Business integration

To integrate Sophos Mobile with Apple Business (formerly Apple Business Manager), you must set up Sophos Mobile as an external device management service.

Requirements

  • You've enrolled your organization in Apple Business and set up an administrator account for Apple Business.
  • You've uploaded a certificate for the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to Sophos Mobile.

To integrate Sophos Mobile with Apple Business, do as follows:

  1. On the menu sidebar, click Setup > Apple setup, and then click the Apple DEP tab.
  2. Click Download public key to download the Sophos Mobile public key certificate file for Apple Business.
  3. Sign in to Apple Business with an account that has the Administrator or Device Enrollment Manager role.

  4. Link your Apple Business account to Sophos Mobile.

  5. After you download the service token from Apple Business, in Sophos Mobile, go to the Apple DEP tab, click Upload a file, and select the service token.

  6. Click Save.

The service token is valid for one year.

Warning

When you create a new service token in Apple Business, you must sign in to the same Apple Account (formerly Apple ID) that you used to create the initial token.
