App Protection configuration (Android Enterprise work profile policy)
The App Protection configuration lets you protect specific work apps with a password.
The same password applies to all protected apps. Users must set it the first time they open one of the apps.
Restriction
Due to Android restrictions, users don’t need a password in the following situations:
- They interact with the app via other apps like Google Assistant or via Android system functionality.
- The app runs in a multi-window mode, such as split-screen, floating windows, or tiny windows.
