Privacy preferences policy control (macOS device policy)

The Privacy preferences policy control configuration lets you configure macOS system settings on the Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.

Note

Users must accept the policy. This doesn’t apply to devices managed with Apple Business Manager.

Setting Description
Allow Sophos Endpoint to scan all files Allow Sophos Endpoint to access data like Mail, Messages, Safari, Home, Time Machine backups, and certain administrative settings for all users on the Mac.
