App Store configuration (macOS user policy)

With the App Store configuration you restrict the App Store usage.

Setting Description
Restrict to updates Users can update apps but can’t install new apps.
Forbid app adoption App adoption lets users assign apps to their Apple Account (formerly Apple ID) that they didn't install from the App Store. If you forbid app adoption, users can't update these apps.
Turn off update notifications Users don’t receive update notifications.
