Remove APNs certificate

When you upload an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) certificate to Sophos Mobile and later decide not to manage iPhones, iPads, or Macs, you can remove the certificate.

If you don’t remove the certificate, Sophos Mobile shows a permanent warning when the certificate expires after one year.

Warning

Don’t remove the APNs certificate if you’re still managing iPhones, iPads, or Macs. Otherwise, these devices become unmanaged, and you must enroll them again.

To remove the APNs certificate, do as follows:

  1. On the menu sidebar, click Setup > Apple setup, and then click the APNs tab.
  2. Click Remove APNs certificate.
  3. Click Yes in the confirmation dialog.

Sophos Mobile removes the certificate from your account.
