iPhone and iPad settings

On the iOS & iPadOS tab of the Apple setup page, you configure settings for iPhones and iPads.

Setting Description
Activation Lock bypass

Supervised devices with Activation Lock send their bypass code to Sophos Mobile.

With the bypass code, you can reactivate the device without signing in to the previous user's Apple Account (formerly Apple ID). See Bypass Apple Activation Lock.
Synchronize device name

Sophos Mobile uses the name that the user has set on the device.

When you turn this setting off, Sophos Mobile uses the name that you set during device enrollment.
