Get client logs

You can remotely fetch the log files of the Sophos Mobile client on a device. For Android Enterprise devices, you’ll also receive an Android bug report.

Restriction These instructions only apply to platforms that have a Sophos Mobile client:
  • Android
  • iOS, iPadOS
  • Chrome OS

To get the log files for a device:

  1. On the menu sidebar, under MANAGE, select Devices.
  2. Select the name of the device for which you want to get the log files.
  3. Select Actions > Get log files.

Sophos Mobile sends the log files to your email address. The files are not stored on the Sophos Mobile server.

Tip Instead of fetching the log files in Sophos Mobile Admin, you can ask the user to perform the Send log files action.
