Create app group

You can create apps groups that contain apps for a specific platform, such as Android or iOS.

To create an app group, do as follows:

  1. On the menu sidebar, click App groups and then click the platform for which you want to create the app group.
  2. Click Create app group.
  3. On the Edit app group page, enter a name for the new app group and then click Add app.

  4. Select an app you want to add to the group:

    • To select an app from the list of all apps currently installed on your managed devices, click App list and select an app.
    • To add an app manually, click Custom and configure the app details. See the sections below.

  5. Click Add.

  6. Optional: Repeat the previous steps to add more apps.
  7. Click Save to save the app group.

Settings for Android apps

The URL of the app in Google Play.

Click Obtain link to open Google Play. Then, go to the app's page and copy its link. After you enter the link, click Get data to fill in the App name and Identifier fields automatically.
App name A unique name to identify the app.
Identifier The internal identifier of the app.

Settings for iOS apps

Click Obtain link to open the App Store. Then, go to the app's page and copy its link. After you enter the link, click Get data to fill in the App name and Identifier fields automatically.

Identifier The bundle ID of the app.

Identifier

The internal identifier of the app or extension.
