Configure privacy settings
For privacy reasons, you can exclude installed apps from the device information Sophos Mobile uploads to the Sophos Data Lake.
By default, Sophos Mobile doesn’t upload data to the Data Lake. For information on how to turn on Data Lake uploads, see Turn on uploads for Sophos Mobile.
Note
Sophos Mobile records all changes you make to privacy settings for auditing purposes.
To configure privacy settings, do as follows:
- In Sophos Central, go to My Products > Mobile.
- On the menu sidebar, click Setup > General, and then click the Privacy tab.
- To exclude installed apps from the device information Sophos Mobile uploads to the Data Lake, click Hide installed apps .
- To include this information again after you excluded it, click Show installed apps.
