Using Sophos Secure Message

Find out what you can do with Sophos Secure Message.

Sophos Secure Message is a web-based email client. In the Mailbox view, you see a list of your encrypted emails. You can do as follows:

• Read emails.
• Search for text in emails within a date range.
• Filter and sort emails.

• Delete emails.

  Warning

  You can't recover deleted emails.

You can't create new encrypted emails.

Received encrypted emails expire on the expiry date mentioned.

To view the portal interface in a different language, use the language selection option in the top menu.

Working with encrypted emails

Click an email to read it. When you read the email, the sender receives a notification email confirming that it has been opened.

You can reply to the sender or all senders, and include up to five attachments in your response.

You can also print an email, move it to a folder, save it, or delete it. Note that saved emails aren't encrypted, and you need to save attachments separately.

Settings

There are two groups of Settings.

• Security Options: Update your password, challenge questions, and alternate email address.
• Account Settings: Update your personal information. You can also control how emails are displayed, and add a signature for your replies.
