Reset App Protection password


This section only applies to Android devices.

If your organization has configured App Protection for specific apps on your device, you must create a password when you open a protected app for the first time. You must enter the password every time you open the app or after your device has been locked.

To reset the App Protection password:

  1. In Sophos Central Self Service Portal, click Mobile and then click the relevant device.
  2. Click Actions > Reset App Protection password.
  3. Click Reset.

    On your device, you must create a new password the next time you open a protected app.
