Create API credentials

You must create API credentials before you deploy the CloudFormation template.

To create API credentials, do as follows:

1. Sign in to Sophos Central.
2. Click the Global Settings icon .
3. Go to Access Control > API Credentials. and click Credentials.
4. Click Add Credential.
5. Enter a Credential name.
6. For Role, select Service Principal Firewall.

7. Click Add. Sophos Central generates a Client ID and Client Secret.

   Note

   You'll need these credentials later when you specify your stack details in AWS.

8. To copy the client secret, click Copy.

   Warning

   You must copy the client secret immediately, as you won't be able to do this after you exit the page.
