License expiration reminders

When your licenses are near expiration or have already expired, we'll remind you to renew them.

You'll see our reminders when you sign in to Sophos Central. This page tells you what to expect.

Licenses expiring

Thirty days before licenses expire, you'll see this message when you sign in to your Sophos Central account.

"Licenses expiring" message.

You can dismiss the message but it'll show again at each sign-in until you renew your licenses. Any other administrators with access to the account will also see the message.

You should renew to make sure that you remain protected from security threats.

Ready to renew? Click View licenses to go to the Licensing page, where you can apply a new license key or ask your partner to renew your licenses.

Licenses expired

When your licenses have expired, you'll see a message that prompts you to renew immediately.

You risk losing your protection against security threats. Renew as soon as you can to stay protected and keep access to your Sophos Central account.

Click View licenses to go to the Licensing page, where you can apply your new license key or ask your partner to renew your licenses.

Licenses expired: Final warning

If all your licenses have expired and you haven't taken action, you'll see a final warning message. You can't dismiss this message.

Until you renew, you can't access your Sophos Central account and you risk having it deleted.

You can only access the Licensing page, where you can apply a license key or ask for a renewal.
