Transfer subscriptions between firewalls

Note

The following restrictions apply:

  • The firewalls must be the same model or equivalent, for example, SG125 and XG125.
  • You can't transfer an evaluation subscription to another firewall.

To transfer subscriptions between firewalls, do as follows:

  1. In Sophos Central, click your Profile icon. Sophos Central account icon.
  2. Go to Licensing > Firewall licenses.
  3. Search for the firewall, then click the arrow next to its name to see its details.

  4. Click Transfer subscriptions.

  5. (Optional) Check the box that allows you to see firewalls that already have paid licenses in the drop-down list.

  6. Under Transfer to, select a firewall.

  7. Click Finish.

    Note

    If the destination firewall has an overlapping subscription, you'll see a confirmation dialog.

    To proceed with the transfer, click Yes.

  8. Search for the firewall you transferred the subscription to, then click the arrow next to its name to see its details.

You'll see your new subscriptions in the firewall details.
