Sophos Firewall OS (SFOS) licensing model

SFOS includes a base license, which is required for all hardware and virtual firewalls. You can also purchase additional features as subscriptions. You can purchase these subscriptions individually or as bundles. Some bundles include hardware or virtual appliances, and other bundles contain subscriptions only. For more information, see Sophos Firewall: Licensing.

You can purchase irregular license terms greater than one year. Contact your Sophos partner for more details.

Zero-Day Protection was formerly known as Sandstorm Protection.

There are two levels of support, Enhanced and Enhanced Plus. Enhanced Plus provides direct access to senior Sophos Support staff and also provides a warranty for some connected Sophos appliances. If you buy any of the bundles, they include Enhanced Support. If you purchase an individual subscription, a support subscription is required to access the support team.

If you have the base license, you'll have access to various self-help resources to assist you. However, to receive personalized support on the telephone, in the chat, or via a support case from the Sophos team, you'll need to upgrade to a higher-tier license.
