Renewals and license expiry

It's vital that valid and active licenses are in place for all Sophos products at all times. Failure to renew can result in loss of protection and functionality of your Sophos product. To ensure a smooth renewal and continued protection, please follow the steps in the section that applies to your situation below.

  • Your licenses are about to expire


    Work with your partner or your assigned Sophos Renewals contact to ensure a new license is in place prior to expiry.

  • Your licenses expired less than 30 days ago


    We understand that there may be situations arising that can prevent a timely renewal. If you haven’t already, please contact your partner or your assigned Sophos Renewal contact to begin the renewal process. We will ensure that protection remains in place while you go through the renewal process.

  • Your licenses expired more than 30 days ago


    If your new license isn't in place within 30 days of your original license expiry date, you'll lose protection and functionality of the Sophos product. If you haven't already done so, please contact your Sophos Sales representative or partner to begin the reinstatement process as soon as possible. We'll work with you to determine the best path forward to minimize any delays in implementing a reinstated license and re-enabling protection.
