Create a dynamic interface object

You must create a dynamic interface so that Sophos Central can push policies you create to the firewalls in your AWS Auto Scaling cluster.

To configure a dynamic interface, do as follows:

  1. Sign in to Sophos Central.
  2. Go to My Products > Firewall Management > Dynamic Objects.
  3. Click Interfaces.
  4. Click Add Dynamic Interface.

  5. For Name, enter PortB.

    Note

    Name is case-sensitive.

  6. For Interface Type select WAN.

  7. Under Mappings, select Default (Any firewall) from the Firewalls drop-down menu, select the interface from the Interfaces available drop-down menu, then click Add.
  8. Click Save.

  9. To delete a mapping, click the trashcan icon next to it.

    Note

    You can't delete the default mapping.
