Add External VIPs

Sophos Email allows you to add external VIPs that you want to protect from impersonation.

Note

You can't add internal VIPs as external VIPs.

To add an external VIP, do as follows:

  1. In Sophos Central, click the Global Settings icon Global Settings icon..
  2. Go to Products & Services > Email and click Business Email Compromise.
  3. Select the Impersonation tab.
  4. On your VIP management list, click Add VIP.
  5. Select Add VIPs.
  6. Select External VIPs.
  7. Enter the name of the external VIP.
  8. Enter the email address of the external VIP.
  9. Click Save.

The external VIP is added to the VIP management list.
