Request a backup

Take a configuration backup from a selected switch.

To take a backup, do as follows:

  1. Sign in to Sophos Central.
  2. Go to My Products > Switches > Backup.
  3. Click the name of the switch you want to back up.

  4. Click Request a backup.

    Click "Request a backup".

  5. Enter a tag in the Tag box.

    Enter a tag.

  6. Click Request a backup.

    Click "Request a backup".

A task is created and sent to the switch. When the task is complete, the configuration backup is sent to Sophos Central.
