Sophos Outlook add-in

The Sophos Outlook add-in allows users to report suspected phishing and spam messages in Microsoft Outlook.

When users report a suspicious email using the Sophos Outlook add-in, the add-in forwards the reported email to the mailboxes as configured. It also sends a copy of the email to SophosLabs for further analysis.

The Sophos Outlook add-in also works with Phish Threat simulated phishing messages. See Reporting a message.

If you don't want to send suspicious emails reported by your users to SophosLabs, turn off Send reported emails to SophosLabs for threat analysis.

Benefits of the Sophos Outlook add-in

The add-in simplifies the process your users must follow to report suspicious messages. Users can report a message to the proper destination in the appropriate format with one click, eliminating the need to remember a specific email address or forward unwanted messages.

You and your team will get better visibility into the type and volume of suspicious messages reaching your end users. This visibility allows you to understand the threats facing your organization in real-time, allowing you to respond quickly to potential security incidents and to fine-tune your layered security strategy.

Using the add-in to report suspicious messages helps Sophos in its work to predict and prevent threats for our customers.
