IGMP snooping

Internet group management protocol (IGMP) snooping allows the switch to identify multicast groups.

Settings

To configure IGMP snooping, do as follows:

  1. Go to My Products > Switches > Switches, select the switch you want to configure, then select L3 protocols.
  2. Select IGMP snooping.
  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select the status for IGMP snooping either globally or per VLAN. The options are as follows:

    Option Description
    Not set IGMP snooping isn't configured.
    Enabled Turn on IGMP snooping.
    Disabled Turn off IGMP snooping.

Group list

The Group list tab shows the list of discovered multicast groups. These groups of computers or devices receive the same network traffic.
