Get log files

The new Sophos Mobile pages in Sophos Central might not be available for all customers yet.

You can get the log files of the following Sophos apps on a device if Sophos Mobile manages them:

  • Sophos Mobile Control
  • Sophos Intercept X for Mobile
  • Sophos Chrome Security

Note

We recommend setting the most verbose log level, Trace, before getting the log files. See Set log level.

To get the log files of all managed Sophos Mobile apps on a device, do as follows:

  1. Go to Devices > Mobile devices and click a device name.

    You can get log files for Android devices, iPhones, iPads, and Chromebooks.

  2. On the device's details page, click Actions > Get log files.

Sophos Mobile sends you an email with the log files.

For iPhones and iPads, the end user must open Sophos Mobile Control within 72 hours after you run the action. Otherwise, the action fails.
