Manage how administrator sessions are handled across Sophos Central to help protect access to your account and your managed customers.

Session Idle Timeout

Use the Session Idle Timeout setting to specify how long an administrator can remain inactive before they must sign in again.

To configure the session idle timeout, do as follows:

  1. Click the Global Settings icon Global Settings icon..
  2. Click Access Control > Sign-in and Identity, then click the Connected Sessions tab.

  3. In Session Idle Timeout, enter the maximum number of hours an administrator session can remain idle before the administrator must sign in again. You can enter a value from 1 to 23.

    The default timeout is 3 hours.

  4. Click Save.
