Scan device

This feature requires a Sophos Mobile (formerly Central Mobile Advanced) or Sophos Mobile Threat Defense (formerly Intercept X for Mobile) license.

You can perform device scans on Android devices on which Sophos Mobile manages Sophos Intercept X for Mobile.

  1. On the menu sidebar, click Devices.
  2. Click the device you want to scan.
  3. On the Show device page, click Actions > Scan for malware.

A task to perform a device scan is created and transferred to Sophos Intercept X for Mobile.

You can view the scan results on the Scan results tab of the Show device page. Click a threat name to display additional information from SophosLabs.
