Configuration

You first configure your Sophos virtual appliance (VA) in Sophos Central. An Open Virtual Appliance (OVA) file is created, which you download and install on a VMware ESXi instance. See Sophos NDR.

If you need to change the configuration of your VA after it's been created, you can use the Sophos VA console.

You can change the settings for the following:

• Management port.
• SYSLOG network port. You only see this if you've added a log collector integration to the virtual machine.
• Network capture ports.
