MSP Flex billing to Term

You can convert a firewall from an MSP Flex billing to a term-based subscription.

To convert a firewall, do as follows:

1. Go to My Business > Firewalls.
2. Click Firewall licensing & billing.
3. Click the Flex billing tab.
4. In the search box, enter the serial number of the device you want to convert.

5. Under the Serial number column, click the device's serial number.

   This opens the device's subscription detail.

6. In Subscription, change the value to None and click Save.

7. Apply the license key. You may do so in one of the following ways:

   • Apply subscriptions to firewalls claimed in the Central Partner Dashboard. For information, see Licensing and Billing.
   • Activate a new subscription or evaluation from Sophos Firewall for firewalls claimed in a Central Customer account. For information, see Set up a new firewall with Sophos Central.

Verify the conversion

To verify that the firewall was successfully converted to a term subscription, do as follows:

1. Log in to your Central Partner Dashboard account .
2. Go to My Business > Firewalls.
3. Click Firewall licensing & billing.
4. Click the Flex billing tab.
5. In the search box, enter the serial number of the device you converted.
6. In the Subscription column, hover over the subscription details.
7. Confirm that the applied term subscription appears in the firewall license details.
