Reply to an encrypted PDF file

You can use Sophos Secure Message to compose and send a secure reply to an encrypted PDF file you’ve received.

To reply to an encrypted PDF file, do as follows.

  • Open the encrypted PDF attachment, [ENCRYPTED] message.pdf in your PDF application.
  • Enter your password to view the message.
  • Click the blue Secure Reply link that appears above the message body. You are sent to Sophos Secure Message.

  • Compose your message and click Send.

    If you want, you can click Send me a copy to have a copy of your secure reply sent to you as an encrypted PDF file.

  • To log out without receiving a copy of the message, click the Logout button.
