Enable or disable auditing

If you use role-based administration, you must have the Auditing right to enable or disable auditing. For more information, see Managing roles and sub-estates.

To enable or disable auditing:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Manage Auditing.
  2. In the Manage Auditing dialog box, select or clear the Enable auditing check box to enable or disable auditing. The option is disabled by default.
