Add devices

Devices can be added to Sophos Mobile in the following ways:

  • Add devices manually. See Add device.
  • Import devices from a comma-separated values (CSV) file. See Import devices.
  • Use the Add device wizard to add a device to Sophos Mobile, assign it to a user, enroll it, and transfer an enrollment task bundle. See Use the Add device wizard.
  • Enable users to enroll devices on their own in the Self Service Portal. See Configure Self Service Portal. This portal reduces IT effort by allowing users to carry out tasks without contacting the helpdesk. The devices are provisioned by executing defined task bundles. See Task bundles.

We recommend that you use device groups to group devices for easier administration. See Device groups.
