Managed Google Play apps

On Android enterprise devices, only managed Google Play apps you’ve approved for your organization can be installed.

Perform the following tasks in managed Google Play and in Sophos Mobile to make apps available to your users:

  1. In managed Google Play, you select the apps for your organization. To do this:
    • Approve the app.
    • Purchase app licenses.
    • Accept the app permissions.

  2. In Sophos Mobile, you configure the app. To do this:
    • Define the location of the app in the managed Google Play Store app on the users’ devices.
    • For apps that support it, configure custom app settings.
    • For paid apps, assign users a license for the app.
