Check APNs connectivity of devices

On iPhones and iPad, users can check if their devices are able to connect to the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) server.

  1. In the Sophos Mobile Control app, tap the Information icon to open the About screen.
  2. Tap Check APNs.

The app tries to connect to the Apple APNs server. The expected server response time is 5 seconds or less.

Check your firewall settings if the APNs server can’t be reached. For a list of required connections see the Sophos Mobile server deployment guide.
