Configure the internal EAS proxy server

You can configure the behavior of the internal EAS proxy.

Do as follows:

  1. On the menu sidebar, under SETTINGS, click Setup > Sophos setup, and then click the EAS proxy tab.
  2. Under General, select Restrict to Sophos Secure Email to restrict email access to the Sophos Secure Email app, available for Android and iOS.
  3. Under Internal, enter the Exchange or groupware server URL in Exchange/groupware server URL.
  4. Select Use SSL/TLS to use a secure connection.

  5. Select Allow EWS requests to allow mail client requests to the Exchange server’s Exchange Web Services (EWS) interface.

    Only turn this setting on if you’re using Sophos Secure Email on iPhones and iPads.

  6. Click Check connection to test the connection.

  7. Click Save.
