What happens in the synchronization

When the synchronization happens, you'll see changes in Autotask and in Sophos Fusion Partner.

What happens in Autotask

Synchronization copies the following data from Sophos Fusion Partner to Autotask:

  • Customer name
  • Sophos Fusion Partner license names
  • Usage

Note

If you change the licenses that are assigned to a customer in Sophos Fusion Partner, you must manually make the corresponding changes to the customer’s contract in Autotask. Sophos Fusion Partner doesn't update Autotask for you.

You are synchronizing with contracts in Autotask. Your Sophos Fusion account is linked to a contract in Autotask.

What happens in Sophos Fusion Partner

Synchronization happens every 24 hours or every month, depending on the selected schedule. See Set the usage sync frequency.

The synchronization updates any Autotask contracts in Sophos Fusion Partner if you have changed them manually in Autotask.

For customers that are synchronized, the PSA Integration page now displays synchronization status.

We also show any synchronization errors. The error details also show solution advice.
