Add a single guest user

When you add (register) guest users, you specify basic values such as the validity period and validity start. Other values (for example, user name and password) are created according to the guest user settings. After authentication, the guest user is granted access according to the selected policies or is redirected to the captive portal.

  1. Go to Authentication > Guest users and click Add single.
  2. Type a name.
    Note This is the user record name, not the user name.
  3. Type an email address.
  4. Specify a validity period.
  5. Specify the validity start.

    Immediately Validity period starts immediately after you add the guest user.
    After first login Validity period starts from the time the guest user logs in for the first time.
  6. Click Add to add the user or Add and print to add the user and print the credentials.

Go to Authentication > Guest users and click for the user. Specify policies and settings as required.
