Add unicast route

  1. For an IPv4 unicast route, go to Routing > Static routing and click Add under IPv4 unicast route. For an IPv6 unicast route, click Add under IPv6 unicast route.
  2. Enter unicast route details.
    Destination IP/Prefix
Specify the destination IPv4 or IPv6 address and select the prefix of subnet mask from the drop-down list.
Specify the gateway IPv4 or IPv6 address. The gateway address specifies the next-hop router to which traffic will be routed.
Select an interface from the drop-down list.
Note If you configure a static route for a RED site-to-site tunnel, you can't select an interface. Instead, you must specify the IP address of the peer RED site-to-site tunnel.
Note You can create unicast routes in which the gateway configuration and the selected interface are not within the same network (network is not available for that route). XG Firewall stores these routes. They start working automatically when you assign an IP address from the specified gateway’s network to the interface.
    Specify the distance for routing:
    • For IPv4
    • For IPv6
  3. Click Save.
The unicast route has been created and appears on the Static routing page.
