Restart access points remotely using the CLI

Remotely restart Sophos access points.

How to use the CLI to remotely restart a Sophos access point managed by Sophos Firewall

1. Sign in to the command line console (CLI) as the admin user.
2. Type 5 for Device Management.
3. Type 3 for Advanced Shell.
4. Type awetool and press Enter.

5. Using the arrow keys select option 1 Connect to an AP and press Enter.

   This lists all available access points.

6. Using the arrow keys select the access point you want to restart.

7. Select Ok.
8. Type: y to finish connecting to the access point.

9. Type: reboot and press Enter.

   This restarts the access point.
