Migrate to another authenticator application
If you've configured multi-factor authentication, you might be using an authenticator application to authenticate with Sophos Firewall. However, in some situations, you might want to migrate to another authenticator application from your current one. For example, if we no longer support the authenticator application you're using, you must migrate to a supported one. For supported authenticator applications, see Sophos Firewall and third-party authenticators.
To migrate to another authenticator application, do as follows:
- Go to Authentication > Multi-factor authentication.
- Under One-time password (OTP), make sure Generate OTP token with next sign-in is turned on.
- Under Issued tokens, select the users using the unsupported application and click Delete .
- Request the users whose tokens you've deleted to sign in to the user portal and scan the QR code shown using a supported authenticator application. Users must sign in to the user portal using only the password and not include the old token code.
