Configure the user inactivity timer for STAS

You can set the user inactivity timer in STAS to sign out inactive users. If you set the timer, inactive users aren't shown on Current activites > Live users, giving you an accurate view of live users.

Configure the user inactivity timer

Do as follows:

  1. Go to Authentication > STAS.
  2. Turn on Enable user inactivity.

  3. Configure the following settings.

    Option Description
    Inactivity timer Number of minutes before an inactive user is signed out.
    Default: 3
    Data transfer threshold Bytes of data that must be received before an inactive user is signed out.
    Default: 100

  4. Click Apply.
