Enhance web protection

You may want to use scanning behavior that is stronger than the default. To do this, you select a scanning engine, specify the maximum file size, and turn on other options.

Objectives

When you complete this unit, you'll know how to do the following:

  • Specify scanning engine and maximum file size
  • Scan audio and video files

Specify general settings

  1. Go to Web > General settings.

  2. Specify the following malware scanning settings.

    Name Description
    Scan engine selection Dual engine

    This selection provides maximum recognition rate and security, but may affect performance.

  3. Click Advanced settings and specify additional settings.

    Name Description
    Scan audio and video files Enabled

  4. Click Apply.

The firewall now uses dual engine scanning for web traffic. Audio and video files are now scanned.
