Hosts and services

You can define and manage system hosts and services.

The following host types are available:

Sophos Firewall includes common services by default, such as DHCP and DNS. You can also add, edit, and delete custom services.

Note

The firewall supports a maximum of 16,000 hosts across all host types combined.

Hosts and services usage

You can see the number of times you've used a host or service in another configuration in the firewall. Usage in the details page of a host or service shows this count. Click the count to see the details. The firewall refreshes the count only once a day. You must manually refresh it to see the updated details.
