Voucher template

You can create a voucher template using your preferred page layout or word processor and save it as a PDF. A voucher template contains information such as time and usage allocations. Vouchers provide users access to your network when your hotspot type is set to voucher.

Variables

Templates support variables that are replaced during voucher generation. For usage examples, refer to the voucher template in Wireless > Hotspot settings > Download templates. You can use the following variables in your template:

  • <?ssid#?>: Wireless network SSIDs as defined in Wireless networks.
  • <?psk#?>: Wireless network passphrase or PSKs as defined in Wireless networks.
  • <?code?>: Voucher code.
  • <?validity?>: Voucher validity period as defined in Hotspot voucher definition.
  • <?datalimit?>: Voucher data volume as defined in Hotspot voucher definition.
  • <?timelimit?>: Voucher time quota as defined in Hotspot voucher definition.
  • <?comment?>: Description as defined in Hotspot voucher definition.
  • <?qr0?>: QR code with the hotspot access data encoded.

Recommendations

  • Place each variable on a separate line.
  • Use only standard system fonts.
  • Define the character set on the last line of your PDF file. This string will be removed during voucher generation. For more information, see the example template.
