Add a Flexi Port module to HA devices

You can add a Flexi Port module to HA devices.

Warning

The Flexi Port module isn't hot-swappable. So, you must power off the firewall device, insert the module, and power on the device again.

To add a Flexi Port module to HA devices, do as follows:

  1. Shut down both firewalls.

  2. Install the Flexi Port modules in both firewalls.

    Note

    You must use the same model of Flexi Port module in both firewalls.

  3. Restart both firewalls.

  4. On the primary device, go to Network > Interfaces and configure the Flexi Ports.

    These configurations are synchronized to the auxiliary device's Flexi Ports.
