Add service

You can configure new services.

To add a new service, do as follows:

  1. Go to Hosts and services > Services and click Add.

  2. Enter the service details.

    Select a service type and specify the details. You can add more than one instance of the specified service type. The available options are as follows:

    • TCP/UDP: Enter the source and destination ports.

      Note

      Don't change the default source port. Applications and services dynamically select a source port from 1 to 65535 when initiating a connection.

    • IP: Select the protocol number.

    • ICMP and ICMPv6: Select the ICMP type and code. You can enter multiple types and codes for the same service. Use the Add Add button. and Remove Remove button. buttons to add and delete the parameters.

  3. Click Save.
