VPN Management

VPN management allows you to regenerate RSA keys and restart VPN services. RSA keys are used to authenticate IPsec VPN connections for for remote access and site-to-site connections.

The VPN Management menu allows you to restart the VPN service daemon and regenerate the RSA public/private key pair used to authenticate IPsec connections.

Menu Item Description
Regenerate RSA Key Use this option to regenerate the RSA public-private key pair used to authenticate IPsec connections. Users must download the new VPN configuration from the user portal for remote access VPN connections. For site-to-site connections, the key at the remote location must be updated.
Restart VPN Service This restarts the VPN service daemon and causes all VPN tunnels to drop. If you want to restart a single VPN connection, use the GUI.
