Transfer licenses in HA devices

You can transfer licenses in HA devices.

From auxiliary to primary in active-passive HA

In active-passive HA, you must add the licenses to the primary device.

If you mistakenly added the licenses to the auxiliary, you must transfer the licenses to the primary as follows:

  1. Sign in to the primary device and disable HA.
  2. Sign in to your Sophos Central account and transfer the licenses from the auxiliary device to the primary device. See Transfer subscriptions between firewalls.
  3. Configure HA. See Configure active-passive HA.
