Using key-value pairs, you can add, edit, or delete the signature engine, Snort's configuration. For more inforamtion about Snort, see Snort.

Warning

We recommend that only Sophos support engineers run these commands.

Command

set ips_conf

Syntax

set ips_conf
add key <text> value <text>
update key <text> value <text>
del key <text> value <text>

Options

add key <text> value <text>

Add a new Snort configuration.

update key <text> value <text>

Update an existing Snort configuration.

del key <text> value <text>

Delete an existing Snort configuration.
